Due to which, in 190 AD, Zavo Andan had to skave for two years. During this time he composed the poem 'Bowl of Poison' on the London front for Gandhiji's Round Table Conference. In 180, Phadke co-founded the Poona Native Institution (FNI), later known as the Maharashtra Education Society (MES), with social reformer and revolutionary Laxman Narhar Indapurkar and Vaman Prabhakar Bhave.
