The " Cyber Swachhta Kendra " (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre) is a part of the Government of India's Digital India initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to create a secure cyber space by detecting botnet infections in India and to notify, enable cleaning and securing systems of end users so as to prevent further infections. Instead of having someone call your phone to help you find it, you can choose to ring your device from the app by pressing the Play Sound option. This will cause your device to ring for 5 minutes at the highest volume, even if it’s set on silent or vibrate. To stop the ringing, tap the power button on your phone.

Lock: The lock option can be useful if you want to lock your Android device so no one can access your data while you’re trying to recover your lost device. To lock your device, click on the Lock option. Enter your new password twice, add a contact number for anyone who may find your phone and then tap the Lock button. Once the command is sent to your device, it will lock it immediately, even if it’s being used.

Erase Device: If you think you’ve lost your device for good and would like to force a factory reset to protect your personal data, choose the Erase option. This will erase all your apps, photos, music and settings from your device. If your device is offline when you send the erase command, it will perform the reset the next time it comes online. Once your device has been wiped, you will no longer be able to access it from the app. Also keep in mind that a remote factory reset may not wipe external SD memory cards.

ગૂગલનું આ પેમેન્ટ એપ અમેરિકામાં 4 જૂન 2024થી બંધ થઈ જશે. કંપનીએ આ નિર્ણય વર્ષ 2022માં લોન્ચ થયેલા ગૂગલ વોલેટ એપને પ્રમોટ કરવા માટે કર્યો છે. કંપનીએ એક બ્લોગ પોસ્ટ દ્વારા આ વાતની જાણકારી આપી છે.

• 4 જૂન બાદ આ એપ માત્ર ભારત અને સિંગાપુરમાં જ કામ કરશે. 
• અન્ય દેશોમાં GPayનું સ્ટેન્ડએલોન એપ અવેલેબલ નહીં રહે.

ગૂગલે Peer-to-Peer પેમેન્ટ કર્યુ બંધ- એપ બંધ થવા જઈ રહ્યું છે. એવામાં ગૂગલે Peer-to-Peer પેમેન્ટ પણ બંધ કરી દીધું છે. બ્લોગમાં જણાવવામાં આવ્યું છે કે, ગૂગલ પે એપ અમેરિકામાં બંધ થયા બાદ અમેરિકી યૂઝર હવે એપ દ્વારા અન્ય લોકોને ન તો રૂપિયા મોકલી શકશે અને ન તો લઈ શકશે. કંપની તરફથી અમેરિકાના ગૂગલ પે યૂઝર્સને ગૂગલ વોલેટ પર શિફ્ટ થવાની સલાહ આપવામાં આવી છે. તેની મદદથી રૂપિયા મોકલી શકાશે અથવા રિક્વેસ્ટ કરી શકાશે. અમેરિકામાં મોટાભાગના યૂઝર્સ આનો જ ઉપયોગ કરે છે. ગૂગલનું કહેવું છે કે, તેઓ યૂઝર્સને સમય-સમય પર અપડેટ પ્રદાન કરતા રહેશે. ગૂગલે જણાવ્યું કે, ગૂગલ પેનો ઉપયોગ 180થી વધારે દેશોમાં લાખો લોકો કરી રહ્યા છે.

ગૂગલે ઘણીવાર તેના પેમેન્ટ એપ બંધ કર્યા- આવું પહેલીવાર નથી કે, જ્યારે ગૂગલે એપને બંધ કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. કંપનીએ વર્ષ 2011થી ગૂગલ વોલેટ લોન્ચ કર્યું હતું. ત્યારબાદ ગૂગલે 2015માં એન્ડ્રોઈડ પે એપ લોન્ચ કર્યું હતું. જેમાં ગૂગલ વોલેટને ઈન્ટિગ્રેટ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ગૂગલે ત્યારબાદ 2016માં ગૂગલ વોલેટ કાર્ડ બંધ કરી દીધુ હતું. હવે કંપનીએ એકવાર ફરીથી તેની બધી સર્વિસને ગૂગલ વોલેટમાં ઈન્ટીગ્રેટેડ કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. ગૂગલ પેએ ભારતમાં પહેલા Tez એપ લોન્ચ કર્યું હતું. જેને બાદમાં ગૂગલ પેના નામથી બદલી દેવામાં આવ્યું હતું. હવે તે Gpayના નામથી ગૂગલ પે સ્ટોર પર ઉપલબ્ધ છે. ભારતમાં ગૂગલ પે એપ દ્વારા UPI પેમેન્ટ કરી શકાય છે.

The " Cyber Swachhta Kendra " (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre) is a part of the Government of India's Digital India initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to create a secure cyber space by detecting botnet infections in India and to notify, enable cleaning and securing systems of end users so as to prevent further infections. The " Cyber Swachhta Kendra " (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre) is set up in accordance with the objectives of the "National Cyber Security Policy", which envisages creating a secure cyber eco system in the country. This centre operates in close coordination and collaboration with Internet Service Providers and Product/Antivirus companies. This website provides information and tools to users to secure their systems/devices. This centre is being operated by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under provisions of Section 70B of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
