He is behind the 19th establishment of Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad.  This institute is at the root of many of India's achievements in the field of space. Satellites have also been developed here.  India's first satellite launched into space on the 19th, Aryabhata's many real creations were made here.  Apart from Ahmedabad Institute of Management, Community Science Center, Sarabhai Chemicals, etc., he has contributed to many institutes related to research industry, medicine, pharmacy. Vikram Sarabhai came to India to further study science in Europe  He met the scientist Homi Bhabha, who was one of the able men to lead the world in the field of nuclear and space research that began in the 1950s. After the death of Dr. Homi Bhabha, Dr.  Former President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam said that it was a great privilege for him to work with Dr. Sarabhai.

The Soviet Union installed the world's first satellite, Smritnik, in Earth orbit, and at the same time killed the world's space explorers.  Countries joined, Vikram Sarabhai wanted India to join these countries too.  In this regard, he sent a proposal to the then Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru.  The government accepted the proposal.

The result of his advice was that in 1962 the government formed the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCSPER).  Nehru also handed over the responsibility to him.  This same organization was later transformed into ISRO.  el R, GHR Sra The establishment of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is one of his great achievements.  After Russia's Putnik launch, he successfully explained to the government the need for a space program for a developing country like India.

For the establishment of India's first rocket launching center, Dr.  Dr. Bhabha.  Sarabhai cooperated.  Thumba village near Thiruvananthapuram city on the shores of the Arabian Sea at Kerala was selected for the center.  The main reason for choosing it is that it is close to the equator.  After much effort, India's first rocket was launched on November 21, 19 with a payload on sodium.  As a result of conversations with the US space agency NASA, satellite-powered television was launched on an experimental basis during July 15-16.  Dr.  Through Sarabhai's efforts, the 18th Indian satellite Aryabhata was launched from the Russian cosmodrome into outer orbit.

Through the Experimental Satellite Communication Earth Station as well as the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), he took India to a higher place in the space age.  Hence he is also known as the father of the space age.  Awards and honors |  Bhatnagar Award for Peace in Physics (19) President of the Department of Physics, General Assembly of Indian Science (18) Padma Bhushan (18) President of the 13th General Camp of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IA.EA) (190) on 'Peaceful Use of Nuclear Power'  A postage stamp was issued by the posthumous Indian Post Department on the first death anniversary of Vikram Sarabhai (30 December 19) by the posthumous Indian Post Department (181), President of the Fourth Camp of the United Nations (181) વિ  Vikram Sarabhai Space Center has been named • Vikram Sarabhai is known as the 'Father of Space Science' in India.  .  ia e.  9
