If any other person in your name is not using SIM card, in this case the Department of Telecom has revealed a portal site.  In which false SIM card information is received.  Illegally declared SIM cards have long been a challenge for cardholders as well as the government.  To address this challenge, the Department of Telecom has created a special portal.  Through this portal they can know that no one has used your mobile number without their consent, you can block it if another SIM card is revealed in your name.

According to the existing government guidelines, a maximum of 9 mobile connections are declared in the name of one person.  If a person has been disclosed more than 9 mobile numbers, action may be taken against them if the telecom department gets information in this regard.

The government has increased the limit of eSIM to 18.

In the year 2018, the government had increased the limit of 9 SIM cards to 18 but this new limit will be available only to the customers who have Embedded Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM).  Users with eSIM do not need to purchase a new SIM card when making a new connection or changing service providers.  It is only installed in the customer's device.  The details of the service provider are updated at the time of making a new connection.

How to check Your number

1 is to be the first to login to the portal (https: //tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/alertphp) to know about the misuse of your number

2 Then you have to upload your mobile number.  The OTP will then be dropped.

3 The customer will then be notified via SMS from the telecom department, which will have information that there is an active connection in their name.

4 Users will then be informed about a number that they do not know and can send a request to block it.

5 One more ticket ID will be sent from the department after requesting, so you can track it.
