MEDICINAL NURSERY PROJECT IS SHEDULED IN 100 SCHOOL IN GUJARAT
Subject: Regarding "Medicinal Nursery" Reference: (1) Office Medicine Plant of Gujarat Medicinal Plants Board, Gandhinagar dated 3/2050 Order No. GMPB / 216-17, 2020-21 (2) Hon.
According to the reference, various efforts are being made for the quality of education in the state by the Command and Control Center for Schools functioning at Sector-14 under this office, as a part of which 4,12 schools in the state have been selected in the first phase and various environmental laboratory projects have been implemented. This year, the Medicinal Nursery project is scheduled to be implemented in 100 of the government schools in the state which have the necessary space for nursery and other necessary facilities with the financial support of Gujarat Medicinal Plants Board - Gandhinagar subject to the conditions mentioned in their reference letter-1. In order to provide the necessary collaboration and guidance from time to time in the schools selected in the first phase for the 'Environmental Laboratory' by the members of the team working at the Command and Control Center for Schools 100 schools in the state which have the required facilities have been selected. Whose list is attached to this.
Schools as per the attached list of your district corporation selected for implementation of "Medicinal Nursery" project will have to be allotted a direct grant from the district level to the bank account of the SMC concerned in that school.
1) Medicinal nursery related activities will have to be done subject to the following matters given by 100 Only medicinal seedlings will have to be grown in the nursery, which will have to be selected from the list included.
2) The bag size for seedlings will be 1060200. Fencing as well as polythene bags, soil, seeds and fertilizer should be arranged by the school concerned.
4) Medicinal nurseries should be operated with the following details per school.

5) For Medicinal Nursery, Rs. , Rs Allocation will be based on the number of seedlings distributed and distributed.
6) Medicinal seedlings should be given free of cost to the applicants for cultivation on their land.
Nursery seedling rearing register and seedling distribution register should be maintained by the school.
8) After the completion of the first phase, the progress report along with photographs should be sent to the district level.
9) Regarding the utilization of the grant allotted for the medicinal nursery, the school will have to keep an account as per the rules.
