Gunat Pavo is grown from November to April.  This crop is called Ravipak.  Inger, soybean, tur, maize, cotton, mug and urad are kharif crops.  Wheat, chickpeas, peas, rye and flax are sun crops. In India, arable land increased by 25 per cent from 1960 to 2004 while food production quadrupled.  How did this increase in production happen?  If we think about the systems involved in agriculture, we can divide them into three stages.
