Friends, at present, the Reserve Bank of India has ordered that all government and private banks and non-banking finance companies must waive interest on interest.  This scheme will be implemented from November 9, 2020.  In fact, the central government has decided that if a person has taken a loan of up to Rs 2 crore and has availed the facility of moratorium for six months, no interest will be charged on it.  That interest will be waived.

It has been decided by the Ministry of Finance that interest on the loan account will be waived for borrowers up to Rs 2 crore.  In addition, if these people have taken a moratorium on loan for 6 months, they will also get relief.  The scheme will be implemented from November 8.

According to the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance, the difference between the compound interest rate and the simple interest rate of the borrower from the bank will be credited to your loan account.  This amount will be for the loan moratorium from March 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020.  After depositing this amount in the loan account, the creditors will have a chance to repay from the government by December 15, 2020.  From now on, RBI  It has asked all banks to deposit the loan amount in the account by November 4.

Along with this under this scheme, home loan, education loan, M.S.M.E.  Loans, Credit Card Bills, Vehicle Loans, Consumer Durable Loan Account holders will be eligible for benefits.  Currently, the RBI has provided loan mortgages for six months due to the Corona epidemic.  It includes MSME.  These will include loans such as home, credit card, education, vehicle and private loans.  By paying interest on this scheme, the government will have to pay around Rs 500 crore.  Those who take a loan of Rs 2 crore on or before February 3, 2020 will benefit a lot from this scheme.
