After starting the passenger ro-ro ferry service between the dowry from Ghogha Port in Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Ro-Ro Ferry service is also being started for vehicles in which vehicles like trucks, cars directly from Ghogha Port in Boat  Will get into dowry.  In this first Ro-Ro ferry, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will travel from Ghogha to Dowry with his entire security ring.  Generally, the journey from Dahej in South Gujarat to Bhavnagar in Saurashtra is 310 km, which takes 9 hours by road.  Due to Ro-Ro ferry, now vehicles like truck cars will also be able to travel from dowry to Ghogha port in just 2 hours.  In this Ro-Ro Ferry starting for vehicles, you can travel with as many as 150 trucks.  At the same time, when it comes to cars, 300 cars can go in it.  The first Ro-Ro ferry was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 October 2017 last year.  Now Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is going to start the Ro-Ro ferry of vehicles.  Earlier this Ro Ro Ferry was scheduled to start on 12 October but its inauguration was canceled on 9 October due to the break of the hook which controlled the pontoon at the dowry port.



The first Ro-Ro ferry was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 October 2017 last year.  Now Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is going to start the Ro-Ro ferry of vehicles.  Earlier this Ro Ro Ferry was scheduled to start on 12 October but its inauguration was canceled on 9 October due to the break of the hook which controlled the pontoon at the dowry port.  The fare of a truck and bus to travel in Roro-Ferry is Rs 4500 while Rs 800 is fixed for car and Rs 150 for two wheelers.  At the same time, the fare for the passenger is 200 and 400 rupees according to the class of the seat.  This Vessel of Ro Ro Ferry Service is a voice symphony of 2015 model which is made of Korea.  Its length is about 110 meters.


Significantly, describing the coastline as the entry point for the country's progress and prosperity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that in the last decades, the central governments did not pay attention to the development of the maritime sector and the shipping and port sector also remained neglected.  Our government has started the 'Sagarmala' project and the construction of 106 national waterways to improve the maritime sector and develop water infrastructure.  Its first Ro-Ro ferry service was started on 22 October 2017.
